Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
Preodix collects information you provide directly, information automatically collected when you use the Service, and information from third-party services. We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the Service.
2. Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we collect your Google account information including your email address, name, and Google account ID. This information is used to create and manage your Preodix account. Your email is your primary identifier within our system. We do not store your Google password.
3. Interview Data
Preodix stores data related to your interviews including: interview setup configuration (job role, interview type, difficulty level, duration), interview questions generated for your interviews, your responses to interview questions (text or transcript of voice answers), and AI evaluation reports including scores and feedback. This data is stored in our database associated with your account and is used to track your progress and generate personalized feedback.
4. Resume Information
If you upload a resume or use the resume builder, we store your resume content and files. Resume files are stored in private encrypted storage and are associated with your account. Resume information is used to personalize interview questions and to populate the resume builder tool. Only you can access your resume files; they are not shared with other users or third parties.
5. AI Processing
Preodix uses Google Gemini API to generate interview questions and evaluate your responses. Your interview context (job role, resume information, user responses) is sent to the Gemini API for processing. The Gemini API is governed by Google's terms of service and privacy policy. While we take precautions to minimize personal information in API calls, you should be aware that data is transmitted to Google's servers for AI processing.
6. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the Service; personalize your interview experience; generate interview questions and evaluations; track your progress and performance; respond to your support requests; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service through analytics and feedback. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent.
7. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Supabase servers, which provides database and storage infrastructure. Supabase implements security measures including encryption and access controls. You can review Supabase's security practices at their website. Your resume files are stored in private encrypted buckets and cannot be accessed without proper authentication. All data is associated with your account and is protected by authentication credentials.
8. Third-Party Services
Preodix uses the following third-party services: Google for authentication (Google Sign-In), Supabase for database and file storage, and Google Gemini API for AI processing. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and terms of service. Your use of these services is subject to their respective policies. Preodix is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
9. Authentication
Preodix uses Supabase Authentication with Google OAuth as the authentication mechanism. When you sign in with Google, you are authenticating with Google, not directly with Preodix. Supabase receives an authorization token from Google and uses it to manage your session. Your password is never stored in Preodix's database; authentication is managed entirely through Google and Supabase.
10. Cookies and Local Storage
Preodix uses browser local storage to store your theme preference (light or dark mode). Supabase uses authentication tokens stored in your browser for session management. These tokens are httpOnly and secure, meaning they cannot be accessed by JavaScript and are only transmitted over HTTPS. We do not use traditional cookies for tracking or analytics.
11. Data Retention
Interview data, resumes, and user profiles are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is scheduled for permanent deletion, including interview history, reports, resumes, and account information. Some data may be retained temporarily in backup systems for recovery purposes, but is deleted within a reasonable timeframe. Account deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
12. Delete Interview History
You can delete individual interviews or clear all interview history at any time through the Settings page under "Privacy & Data". When you delete interview history, the associated questions, answers, and reports are permanently removed from your account. This action cannot be undone. Your resume and account information will remain unchanged unless you separately delete them.
13. Delete Account
You can delete your entire Preodix account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the removal of all your data including profile, interviews, answers, reports, resumes, and settings. Deleted data cannot be recovered. You will need to sign in again to use Preodix if you later choose to create a new account.
14. Data Security
Preodix implements security measures to protect your data including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage for files, and access controls based on authentication. However, no security measure is perfect or completely impenetrable. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
15. Children's Privacy
Preodix is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has created an account, we will take steps to delete that account and associated data. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to Preodix should contact us immediately.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Preodix may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the updated version on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last modified. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated policy. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
17. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us through the Support page in the application. We are committed to working with you to resolve any privacy concerns. You may also contact us regarding your data rights or to make a data subject request.
